Great Rod!
El Rey G6 Six Section 9' 5 Weight
I bought this rod for traveling, had it stolen on the trip, then bought a second one before I tried it. I was told that more sections would mean less action, but I have not found that to be the case. On the contrary, this is now my goto rod, and the one I use 90% of the time. It's been a great investment, despite havng to buy two. I've already recommended it to friends.

My new setup was awesome. Just wanted you guys to know. The guide’s I fish with loved the look and feel. They were surprised at how it responded when I let them take over for a bit. They are all Orvis Helios or Recon guys and were amazed at how well this rig responded in tight spots and in some adverse wind. I think it took them by surprise.
I am still a novice in the world of fly fishing, and this made me enjoy this sport even more. Off to the frying pan in a few weeks and to explore the area around there.

I bought this for my wife for her birthday in preparation for a big trip for our anniversary. Well, our plans fell through and we weren't able to go on our fly fishing trip, but I've gotten a chance to take her out on the river a few times with this setup. I'm super jealous. It's way better than my own rig. First time I picked it up I realized I'm a lot better at fly fishing than I thought I was. I was immediately casting double the distance and with way more accuracy than my own rod I've been using for the last 15 years. Pretty sure I'm going to have to buy her a new one because I've been using hers more often than my own. It's billed as a beginner's setup, but it is so much more than that. Zero regrets picking it up. Probably one of the best rigs for the price out there.

I ordered this for the convience of having a packable rod.. I did not hold a lot of hope that it would be as quality of a rod as my others big brand..not only is it as quality it may be better and has an incredible feel in the hand.. I may seriously end up owning one of each of these...
