I bought this for my wife for her birthday in preparation for a big trip for our anniversary. Well, our plans fell through and we weren't able to go on our fly fishing trip, but I've gotten a chance to take her out on the river a few times with this setup. I'm super jealous. It's way better than my own rig. First time I picked it up I realized I'm a lot better at fly fishing than I thought I was. I was immediately casting double the distance and with way more accuracy than my own rod I've been using for the last 15 years. Pretty sure I'm going to have to buy her a new one because I've been using hers more often than my own.It's billed as a beginner's setup, but it is so much more than that.Zero regrets picking it up. Probably one of the best rigs for the price out there.

Had a small issue with an Econ 101 rod. Reached out to Pescador on their website. Emailed my concern and Jeff responded back with his phone number within minutes. I didn't expect that. We talked about it and he's sending a new rod to me. I've read the reviews and heard and the company is quick to respond to any issues you might have. And the reviews are right. Jeff responded back within minutes of receiving my email and we were talking on the phone within 20 minutes of the initial email. I already own an El Jefe rod and reel, an Econ 101 rod and reel and now a second Econ 101 rod and reel. Would give more than 5 stars of I could.I can't say enough about the service you get from this company and I'll continue to buy from them.Appreciate all you guys do at Pescador on the fly.
