Trout Hero Bags

We’ve recently partnered with our friends at Trout Unlimited to help build a new habit for anglers.  Small acts, repeated constantly over time, by many anglers can add up to MASSIVE results.  We have built small mesh bags that can fit into any anglers fishing packs, so they are with us at all times.  We are going to give one of these mesh bags to our angling friends for free so they can help us clean up the trash from the beautiful places our trout live.

Imagine if every time you hit the stream, you make it a little bit cleaner.  Imagine if you go fishing two times per month, you could effectively take twenty four bags of trash from the wilderness each year.  Now imagine if 100 people build this new habit.  That’s twenty four hundred bags of trash from the wilderness.  Now imagine of we get to one thousand anglers, then ten thousand anglers.

We are a big fan of our local Trout Unlimited Chapters stream clean up days.  These are very productive days where anglers get together to haul out a ton of trash from our wilderness.  We see photos on social media of the large trash bags full of garbage.  These are great, but cleaning up a stream once or twice a year isn’t enough.  We need an army of Trout Hero’s out there everyday.
